Swift payments
Swift payments, also known as international wires, are a type of global transfer sent through the Swift international payment network. When using Wise, you should select Swift only if you are sending USD to countries outside the US, GBP to countries outside the UK, more than 1 million JPY to any country, or EUR to banks that are not part of SEPA and countries outside of SEPA.
SEPA payments
SEPA payments can be done within or outside of Europe, if you have a EU based IBAN and your address is outside of the EU, you should still select “inside europe”. Only select outside europe if your IBAN is from a non europe country. The first two letter of the IBAN indicates the country code and would determine wehter to select inside of outside europe.
